Scientific Committee

 The Scientific Committee will have four groups of members:

1- Relevant International Organizations such as UNDP, WB, UNESCO, ESCAP, UNEP, OCHA, ISDR

2- Experts from interested governments of the region

3-Scientific and academic national, regional, and international institutions

4-Interested donors

The scientific Committee will

1-Define strategic ways and means for the implementation of the general policies of the center

2-Prepare guidelines for the Director of the center to implement the programmes

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees will have 3 members:

 1.  Designated Official from Government of Iran

2. Director of UN/ISDR / alternatives: ISDR Regional Coordinator for West Asia and North Africa or ISDR Special Coordinator based in Tehran

3. The designated official of ECO or any other relative regional organizations (Subject to singing a trilateral MOU between Iran, ISDR, and that organization)

The board will

1-    Support developing appropriate  policies and general guidelines for the Center  and make necessary decisions as appropriate,

2-    Ensure the overall support to the Center and coordination at national, regional and international levels.
